  1. Overall good. I'm on pureed food. that's been easy to eat. No real desire to eat. But catch myself eating fast. Need to slow down by time I move to next stage or will likely have problem. Find getting all meds down was difficult at start but now only on acid reduction med, my b12 and multivitatmin. Off pain killers. Walking. Pain in chest seems to have stopped 2 days ago.
  2. Hi folks, I was sleeved on Friday the 30th and am also seeing results. Clothes noticeably looser.
  3. Ice chips? I'm finding them helpful
  4. May Allah make it easy. I hope you are doing well.
  5. I've been on for a week and a half. I'm using 2 Celebrate shakes a day and 1 protein (100-120 g) and 2 cups veggies at night.
  6. I hear you. Haven't been a saint. I like things that crunch. Resorted to a couple cruskits in the last couple days and grapes (none preop diet items) but still losing.
  7. Been doing well on preop. Losing about 400 gr. to 500 grams a day. Still have 11 days to go til surgery.
  8. I'm in Hamilton as well. Surgery set for June 30th. Wishing you all well in upcoming surgeries.
  9. I'm based in New Zealand and we're fasting slightly less than 12 hours and its been relatively easy here to get the water in as from 5:15 pm til 5:45 am I am able to drink water. So I have a glass every hour until ten and I have two when I get up in morning with shake before starting fast.
  10. Salams jene786, Based on what my doctor and nutritionist said. I have 2 shakes a day (Celebrate with trim/skim milk) and 1 meal of 100-120 grams of protein (chicken, seafood, beans, eggs, lite cheese) and 2 cups of non-starchy vegetables. I haven't had any vomiting or other problems with it thus far. Alhamdulillah. So I have a shake for for suhoor, then have a little bit of protein to breakfast with a date. Then have meal about 30 mins later with rest of protein. Then have final shake 3 hours later.
  11. Salams everyone, I'm also a Muslim and started preop diet on Friday. Surgery June 30th IA. Fasting but just flipping timing for shakes. May Allah make it easy for you all. Wassalam
  12. Well done on the first week! Hope things are going well and the blah has gone
