  9. That's awesome! I'm in Thornton, so literally, hello neighbor! Things have been going great! I'm 6 weeks out from surgery, down well over 40lbs and feel amazing! How far into the surgery process are you?

  12. Hi everyone! I was sleeved June 13th. I am down 44lbs since my pre-op diet!
  13. Hi! North Denver here. I had my sleeve surgery through Kaiser with Dr. Johnson on June 13th. It took my a while going back and forth between doing surgery or not before I decided this was what was right for me. Best wishes on your journey!
  14. I went through Kaiser in Colorado for my sleeve surgery. I had to take 6 weeks of nutrition classes which focused on how to eat pre-op and post-op. After my classes ended I got a call to schedule my surgery. It was scheduled roughly 6 weeks after my classes ended. During my classes I had a visit with the psychologist. For me, the whole process from getting my referral to surgery was only about 4 months.

  18. Hi Sabrina, I had surgery last week through Kaiser Colorado with Dr. Johnson. I'm up in north Denver, and learned a ton from my classes as well as made some wonderful people in my classes! You will be in good hands!

  21. I was sleeved on Tuesday and am on the same type of follow up diet as you. Clear liquids for the first week, full liquids week 2, and then soft/ moist foods for a couple weeks, etc. I have been doing warm broth and handle it well, as well as protein water. I seem to do OK with cold liquids, so I've been having sugar free crystal light and ice water. Bone broth might be a good idea for you. It's "clear" and has protein in it. Hang in there! Before we know it, we'll be passed this stage!
