  4. And definitely no soda or sparkling water
  5. Yeah, I actually have a hinder of materials I received from my doctor and the dieticians on what I can and cannot have during the different stages of this. We were told no coffee for the first year and no sugar ever.
  6. Oh...thanks! I've been struggling with the amount of liquids and food. I finally found a way to get in all my protein - by making a mango, ice, protein powder and diet cranberry juice slushie. The Premier drinks my doctor recommends taste like trash after my surgery. They're way too sweet.
  7. Yeah, I'm so flabby it's ridiculous. I'm hoping when I start eating enough calories to exercise it will help some.
  8. My doctor said no Coffee the first year...I'm missing my coffee...hmmm
  9. But my doctor gave me a medication for nausea. Ask your doctor for something to help with the nausea.
  10. It was difficult to get down the liquid the first few days, until I started to use a timer. Every 3 minutes I had a sip of water or protein. It's difficult. I haven't had any nausea.
  11. I dropped 13 lbs my first week after surgery (6/28/17). This week I've only lost 1! My doctor says I should be losing a pound a day initially. I've been having trouble getting all my protein down. It's too sweet now. I can't stand it! I say all of that to say it's a process and I'm trying not to focus on the weight loss but making sure I'm eating and drinking on schedule. The weight loss will happen. [emoji2]
  12. Birds Eye has frozen mashed veggies and they are life!
  13. I started puréed foods on Thursday. It's been wonderful to not feel like I'm starving! [emoji23][emoji23]
