Hi I'm was sleeve aug 21. ,surgery date I weight in at 213pd.5'4.First day I was feeling ok alittle out of it ,but not in too much pain,just gas pains,.Couldnt believe my intake was so little .Today im only 5days out I'm weighing in at 200.Atleast that's what my scale says .it was really hard getting anything down the first 3 days but now it's not as difficult,just get alittle down about the lost of food.,but I know in the end it will all be worth it . -

Well I just got back from seeing my doctor and he said I don't have to do a liquid diet ,just to try not to over eat before surgery on Monday but i could do it if wanted ,so I think I am going too do it . The date is Almost here 😊 -

Today I go in for or op and they said I'll start the liquid diet today ,which I'm kinda surprised at cuse I would think it was longer than 5 days before surgery.ill see what they say today though.mines is at memorial Herman southeast hospital in Pasadena .How long have you been on the liquid diet ? When did they start you ? -

I will have my sleeve done aug 21 2017 ,in Houston ,Tx with dr Trahan .Super nervous and excited.Tomm .i meet with him for pre op ,just really nervous!mother of two small toddlers one and three ,so I'm hoping I heal fast after surgery. -
Has anyone got denied for the sleeve because the psych evaluation letter didn't say "clear" on it? Also my surgeons team appeal it because the of course the insurance company dined me .and now I'm waiting to hear from them to see if I got approve or denied again, also when I called the insurance (CIGNA) they said it shouldn't be an issue once they receive the letter from the therapist saying "clear" for surgery on it .. ugh so frustrating because I first been started this whole process starting February 9 2017, and it was supposed to be only a 4 month check in w the surgeon and all the other things I have to follow up on that the insurance company requires ,which iv done . Question does anyone know if it took long for the appeal to come back from the insurance company(CIGNA) and if so how long?

Just got off the phone with them , and they said it could take up to 30days. Now im just waiting to hear back from them ,From what the phyc. doctor told me is that he had just wanted to see me a couple more time before he wrote clear , so last Friday he said he would send it in so I could get approved for surgery . Super Excited
