  1. I am so happy to find this thread. I was banded April, 2008 and have reached my goal weight. I was really happy with myself and loved my band.... Then, for the last three weeks I have had horrible acid reflux and heartburn. Today I tried drinking a SlimFast and that didn't even stay down. I have been to my doctor and he took out 1cc----that only leaves 1cc left----problems didn't go away. He didn't seem worried about a band slippage. So if I do have a stoma obstruction----what do I do now??? How do you get un-stuck? I can't exist on water! Help!
  2. This is my first post, but I hope you can help me. I was banded April 2008. I have done remarkably well, losing down to my goal weight, etc. The problem is that recently I have not been able to keep much down---pbing every day---sometimes twice. I can no longer eat anything spicy, drink coffee, or tolerate foods that I have done well with for months. I know that I haven't been as good about eating slowly or chewing well so that may be part of it. I did great after my last fill, so I can't figure out why I am having so much trouble with heartburn and acid reflux now. I'm private pay so I can't afford a lot of test. Any suggestions? It is awesome to be thin, but miserable to have heartburn constantly. Help! Any suggestions?
  3. I was banded on April 21, 2008. I have had two fills and am now really feeling restricted. I now have occational acid-reflux and even vomit if I eat more then 3/4 cup of food. Is this out of the ordinary? Is this how the "sweet spot" feels. I'm confused and wonder if I need to have some of the fill taken out? What do you guys think?
  4. I was banded on April 21st, so I'm a little behind you guys. I'm still on soft foods, but after two weeks, my appetite is BACK. I have never felt sick or really had any discomfort althought I have followed the rules and eaten small meals. Now I seem to want more food! I've lost 13 pounds since being banded and don't want to gain that back. I don't get my first fill for another two weeks. How did you guys handle being hungry?!! Jan
