Welp! 1 week post-op tomorrow and it looks like I just had my emotional breakdown...

I will be one week out on Thursday and I am struggling like you, I feel overly emotional, helpless (I'm normally a very in charge person) and weak. For me it's pain making me unable to get all my fluids of all kinds in. It's mostly left side pain, Has anyone else experienced this in the beginning of post op??? -

Yes yes!! Sadly, yes. I had my pre op today and was telling the NP how I'm not stressed about the life changes I'm scared about having the actually procedure or just the general going under, and it has definitely sparked my anxiety to be worst. Have you mentioned it to your doctor? May 31st how exciting!!!! Mine is June 8th

My surgery date is June 8th I start my liquid diet tomorrow, it officially feels real! What is a reasonable amount of time to take off of work?? I wasn't told how much time to take so I planned to be to work by Monday, Tuesday at the latest. (June 8th is a Thursday.) -
