  3. Good point.... Thank you for the advice. I will try increasing my cardio to see if that helps. And Great Job on your weight loss success. You got this in the bag.
  4. 50lbs in 3 months is AWESOME!!! Now that is what I am aiming for. Its just a little scary thinking that my journey will be another one of my failed diets.
  5. I sure hope that's the case
  6. Thank you.... I will try those vitamins until my new bariatric vitamins come. What is a typical day of meals, for you, considered of; are you measuring and counting calories
  7. I am needing some constructive criticism on what I can do to improve my numbers on the scale. I am almost 6 weeks post vsg surgery and down about 30lbs. I know the song; I didn't put the weight on overnight so I can't expect to lose it all overnight..... I know that. I don't know why I am not losing like I should. The last 2 weeks the scale has not moved. I'm exercising about 3x a week at the gym, eating mainly protein and still not losing. Any suggestions how I can get the scale to moving again. Also, will taking my vitamin have a part in this too. I haven't taken any because the ones I got before surgery makes me sick now, so I'm waiting on my order to come in from another supplier.
  8. I was sleeved 4/13 and it has been a journey. My husband and son also eat in another room, away from me, since I got home. I feel left out because dinner was always our family time to talk about our day. I haven't walked much at all. I will probably start walking outdoors starting tomorrow along with starting stage 2. What a journey, thus far...
  9. Thank you... I will keep this in mind.
  10. I am starting my full liquid diet and was wondering what are some things you all tried that was successful. Did any of you do grits or cream of wheat during this stage?
  11. I so understand that. I was sleeved Thursday and went home Friday; so much pain. My husband has been a big help in helping me in and out of bed. It has really been a struggle. I can't help but think I'm pulling my stomach muscle at times.
  12. Thank you... That's what my doctor stated as well, but I had never heard that. Every doctor is different I guess. However, a part of me would like to know for sure.
  13. Hello Everyone, Just wondering if any of you did not have the leak test performed. My doctor did not do one and I thought it was a requirement.
