  1. My diet is 5 protein shakes a day or 3 shakes and 2 bars. I absolutely HATE protein bars so I'll stick to shakes. I can also have broth, sugar free tea and jello and such. I don't eat sugar free anything so I'll stick to just water and green tea. That's my normal anyway. I've had friends who were able to add a salad in here and there. I was going to ask if I can blend some kale into my protein shakes because I heard it can back up your GI. I think for me the hardest thing is going to be dinner time with my family. But I can do anything for 2 week!
  2. Omg I have so many questions!!!! First how are you feeling?
  3. I have been approved, I have my class Monday and the pre op Wednesday. Everything at VCU has been a well oiled machine.
  4. It's so funny how they are all a little different. Starting Monday only 5 protein shakes a day and clear broth/water/decaf tea and no sugar. They sent me a very comprehensive book that I read today. Can I say the babyfood stage looks kinda terrible lol
  5. I'm scheduled for May first for my sleeve surgery. I'm excited and terrified about all the impending changes. I have a very supportive family which I'm very thankful for. That being said none of them have been obese so they don't really understand the whole internal struggle that goes along with the decision. I would love to have a mentor who has walked in these shoes. Thanks y'all! -Audrey
  6. I'm scheduled May first too! Do you start the liquid diet Monday also?
  7. Hi y'all! This is my first post! My surgery date is May 1st!!!! ? I start the liquid diet Monday. I'm excited and terrified at the same time. -Audrey
