  4. For sure I have a list of things and a vitamix to purée everything.
  5. Well I'm glad for you. I guess I'm not most people.
  6. Oh. The staples that were taken off we're on the surface of my stomach to hold the incisions together that the surgeon made for the tools that were used during surgery.
  7. How? I went to see my surgeon and the nurse removed them.
  8. It's weird I had my surgery May 1 & haven't eaten anything just fluids broth, water, premier protein shakes with lots and lots of ice and Crystal light. I'm not hungry one bit. I went to the doctor yesterday to get my staples taken out and spoke to my surgeon said I was doing really good I lost 20 pounds but I feel like I could drink more liquids easyish now. I'm curious in two days when I could start eating soft. Foods how it's going to feel in my stomach. This is all such a weird feeling.
  9. So you are having surgery the 1st? What Monday do you have to start liquid diet?

  11. May 1st is a Monday. My surgeon told me on Sunday have a light breakfast then only liquids I can see through the rest of the day and night.
  12. I finished options on a Tuesday Wednesday the caseworker called me to tell me my file was all good and where I wanted to get surgery. I chose South Bay. That same Wednesday they called me to book a consultation with surgeon my appointment was two weeks later. Met my surgeon who was super cool booked it originally they wanted me to come and get surgery on the 20th of May that was too soon cause I need to get stuff done for work so we settled for the 1st of May. My preop is the 17th.

  19. I just finished the 12 week Kaiser program. I'm in Los Angeles. Why is it your 3 meeting with the surgeon?
  20. I have Kaiser Permanente and before you have the surgery you have to take a 12 week class full of info and everything you need to know. It was very informative. I just finished I go meet the surgeon on the 12th of April.
  21. Your Insurance company is not providing you with classes before hand?

  25. So finished class the 28th. The caseworker came in that day to talk to us to let us know what the next steps were. He called me the next day to tell me that my file was complete and perfect and was going to send my file over to the surgeon then 20 minutes later someone from the surgeons office called me and I have a appointment April 11 for a consultation. I will keep you posted
