Started my full liquid pre op diet on 4/25 and I am down 8 pounds so far. Six more days of these protein shakes and then one day of just clear liquids before the surgery. The first 3 days were really rough and it is getting a little easier but still sucks LOL. Have had plenty of thoughts of cheating and having a bite of something anything just to chew but I know it definitely is not worth it and if I have made it this far I can get to the end. How is everyone else doing?

Today is day 1 of my two week full liquid pre op diet. I have to use the Bariatric Advantage shakes and I had gotten two flavors strawberry and chocolate. I can tell you this neither are great far from it actually but the strawberry one is easier to choke down than the chocolate one. Hoping the flavor will be better if I make it with skim milk instead of water. I will be trying that later tonight. .

I know right they should give me a little something for the free advertising But in all seriousness just being able to help someone out on this incredible journey that we are all going through is payment enough.

Hello Everyone! I am a newbie to the site. I have my surgery scheduled for 5/10/17 at Alexian Brothers in Elk Grove Village with Dr. Guske from the Kane Center. Would love to have some local sleeve buddies

Saw the pulmonologist yesterday and he gave my clearance. I have a mild form of sleep apnea that he is sure will go away once I lose some weight. I have my pre surgical testing scheduled for Monday morning which I see going smoothly and getting the thumbs up there as well. My final clearance is with my PCP which is scheduled for the 19th and I see that going well too. Then the fun 2 week liquid diet would begin on 4/25. Getting so close and super excited!
