  1. I have been struggling as well. My surgery was 4/5/17 and I have been doing 2 shakes a day , I'll have 1/4 c of greek yogurt 2x's a day , jello (which I'm finding too sweet even though sugar free. Popsicles...all I know , I will be so happy to move to soft foods. By that time I'll have been on the liver reduction diet for 23 days. No one said this was going to be easy. I have been taking more naps , trying to wear off anesthesia, going for walks , contacting my support buddy ...7 more days before I see my doctor for first post op visit...
  2. I ordered a Bariatric cookbook - Fresh Start Bariatric Cookbook off of Amazon . written by Sarah Kent who is a registered dietitian nutritionist..great recipes and much encouragement as well....worth the buy

  6. My senses and taste buds seem heightened . Trying to eat sugar free jello and it's too sweet.
  7. Personally I would not add the tomato sauce... too much acid
  8. Sugar free popsicles help me get the fluid I need and satisfies the thirst ...for me
  9. I give Mama June a lot of credit for doing this journey so publicly...unlike most of us she has an agent and personal trainer. Her daughters did nothing to support her...They sat and ate cheese pops and garbage. Who was buying them this stuff...I'm glad June finally woke up with the help of trainer and cleaned the garbage out of the house... she had a deadline to meet for the skin removal surgery and she missed it...she was only human. She put the had work in to get the skin removal surgery...I hope she is able to keep the weight off cause I know when I get to my my goal weight ..I have the support of friends and family. Like most of us. I think we know this isn't a quick fix... we have to change our habits
