  1. 271.6 9/22/17 Btw, thank you for running this. It's nice to have the accountability and a place to check in once a week!
  2. How did I miss this? Can I please still join? Sw: 277 8/25/17 Cw: 277 9/1/17 Gw: 257
  3. Sorry I'm late - I got dumped on Friday 279.0
  4. I waited a week and used a pillow under my stomach. Doggy.
  5. I was too drugged up to read. I barely even checked my phone. I slept a lot. Definitely don't need clothes other than underwear and something to wear home. I brought night gowns I bought specially for the occasion and never wore them till I got home as I was always in a hospital gown out of necessity. Dry mouth spray was the #1 best thing I brought. Trust me, you'll need it.
  6. My surgeon was Dr. Michael Snyder at Rose in Denver. He's great!
  7. I'm not a sleever or Medicaid but hi! Colorado here.
  8. I use the kind you swallow by Bariatric Advantage. They're three big horse pills per dose, but I hate chewables. I like them well enough.
  9. 7/14 285.2 This is exciting because 285 was my lowest weight of the past few years!
  10. I'm at the two month mark now and I've lost almost 35 lbs, started at 323.
  11. I'm very happy with Dr. Snyder and his team! My surgery went very smoothly with minimal pain afterward. I had my bypass on May 8th. I missed the July support group because I was out of town, but I'm going next month. It's the first Monday of the month.
  12. I don't really believe the soda thing because there is no conclusive evidence either way that says it causes pouch stretching. Either way, I have maybe one diet soda a week. My dietician says no soup because it goes through your pouch too quickly to be satisfying. I've found that to be true for me so I'll do only chili occasionally or something similarly hearty.
  13. JELLO. Seriously. You can chew it. It was a huge thing for me. Maybe try chewing gum too? And yes to sf popsicles.
