  1. so i had my surgery on the 18th, everything went well, no complications, got discharged the next day. told me that if i dont go to the bathroom by sunday to take mirolax. so i did half dose last night& the rest this morning. i just wanna know if anyone has any suggestions that will make me go to the bathroom. sorry if its a bit tmi but its scaring me because i am in discomfort from being bloated and it makes me not want my protein shakes, and me not having protein shakes makes me incredibly dizzy and weak, which makes me unable to walk a lot which is what i should be doing to let the gas out. i just wanna know if anyone had this same problem and what would they recommend
  2. i just turned 21 on tuesday and had my procedure on thursday. it is worth it, i know all this minor pain i'm going through will make the rest of my 20s healthy and happy. ive been big my entire life and this option seemed best for me, i would do this all over again in a heartbeat. good luck to you!
  3. i have my surgery date on the 18th (i'm getting the sleeve) and i have my blood test in about 10 days, and my surgeon wont operate on me if i still smoke. he's doing a blood test and is gonna check my tobacco/nicotine levels and if i haven't quit smoking he wont operate on me. i haven't smoked in 24 hours and its been really hard but i'm pushing through it. i'm just worried i wont pass and if i don't pass idk what else to do this is truly my last resort. has anyone had a similar experience and if so do you think i will pass/ did you pass? any tips on cleaning out your blood before the test? any advice and stories would be highly appreciated
  4. well i haven't used this before but decided to sign up since i got my surgery date today. surgery for then sleeve is may 18th and i'm really nervous for this blood test. my surgeon wont operate me if he finds nicotine/tobacco in my blood since i have been a smoker for the past year and a half. i officially quit today (using a e cig for just today, then dropping it tomorrow) in hopes it'll be out of my system for my blood test. the nurse said she would call me on april 18th with an appointment for the blood test. im afraid this wont be enough time. i smoke about a pack a day or less and do you guys have similar experiences and how did it go when you did the blood test? i really need this surgery and afraid i messed it up for myself because i didnt quit sooner.
