I had the surgery the same day, I don't start start full liquids until tomorrow and I am so ready for some cream soup! What are you eating on the full liquid?

I'm 4 days post op, I started at one and today have been doing 2 ounces an hour I can feel it in my sternum like between my breasts when I'm done..

Mine was the 30th and it's been really good, how bout yours?

Ok 2 days post op And I am blessed beyond measure!!! The first night was the hardest with the Horrible gas pain pushing on my sternum but it is gone today and everything went perfect praise be to god! I'm taking my water, protein shakes, crystal light all just fine no problems! Haven't even taken my pain medicine!

I've done very well with all my surgeries as well, I guess I'm just getting nervous I can't believe it's only 2 days away so I have all these things running through my mind.. im glad your doing well that makes me happy!

Surgery is on May 30th I'm on day 2 of a 3 day clear liquid diet and doing ok.... Ive been so excited about this and done everything to get me to this point, but now I'm sitting here worried about GETTING A LEAK!

Im wondering how long everyone took off work after the VSG? My hope is 10 days.. I have an office job with no lifting. What do you guys think?
