Hi I will be a college student this starting august. I started my journey in October and I'm on my final steps to set my appointment I'm hoping to have my surgery by July the latest I would hate to have it when I start school so I agree, you should definitely consider scheduling during school break. Good luck to you! It's really nerve wrecking but so exciting at the same time.

Hi! I am 23 and I don't have a surgery date yet I am hoping it's in June or July. I have a daughter and I'm married and I'm looking for buddies to just talk to about this new journey I am starting.

2 weeks ago I had an endoscopy done because my doctor required it. Everything went well but the dr told me he found some tissue in my stomach and took a biopsy. I got a call on Monday saying I have H-Pylori and I have to take antibiotics for 14 days and won't go back until 30 days after to get tested again. Which will be until the end of May. I am happy they found it and it is getting taken care of. I am just a little scared that this will delay me for my surgery. I'm really not sure what to think. I am very nervous. If anyone went through this feel free to let me know how your experience went. Thank you.

Hi everyone I am 23 years old I am a wife and I have an almost 3 year old daughter and I am going through the WLS journey. I meet with my nutritionist tomorrow and that will complete my 6 month weight loss class required from my INS, after that I have a nutrionist group class and a psychological appointment and possibly that will be it until i meet with my surgeon. I am trying to get feed back on anyone that was as young as me that got the surgery or is on the same boat as me. I guess I can say I'm a bit scared and open to any advice. FYI this is my first time to this group as well so I am kinda new to this but very much excited!
