  1. I am about 9 months post-op (gastric bypass in June 2016) and I had similar complications plus an infection at the surgical site. I was out of commission for longer but I anticipated and the pain was unreal but the outcome was positive. I started my journey at 277 lbs (highest), pre-op weight 267 lbs and I am now at 199.7 lbs. Unfortunately due to stress and emotional eating my weight has begun to creep up again and I'm terrified that I messed myself up. I've read about the pouch reset and I'm beginning that tomorrow because I didn't go thru all of this to go back and gain all the weight back.
