  1. Wow. I must be a freak. LOL. I don't know, I'm not worried about not losing weight, etc. I'm worried about the immediate complications and side effects related to the surgery. Yes, for sure, I have been reading post-op complications board and they are distressing, but I'm not as concerned with that. Good luck to all of you! I'm sure I will be in and out as I go through this.
  2. Better late than never. Surgery March 29. Freaking out emotionally. Please advise. Worried about: pain, hydration status, and weakness. I've heard about hydration and weakness from a few people, with them stating it was severe. Only one person said there was pain. I'm having gastric bypass surgery. I'm very confident with surgeon, just need more info about peoples' post-op experiences. thanks!
  3. Hi. First time to this support group. Surgery on Wednesday. Logically, I understand everything that is happening and about to happen. Emotionally, I'm kind of freaking out. A few of my friends who have had the surgery are telling me about the massive dehydration they experienced post-op. My concerns are: pain, hydration, weakness. If there is a part of this board that has a support area for people who are immediately pre-op, would love some direction so I can find it. Thanks!
