  1. I was sleeved 15th feb, happy to be your buddy. It's not easy is it. Such a change. I'm ready for some crunch. How are you going?
  2. I was sleeved 15 feb and the 2 weeks of optifast was not easy. I focussed on bars and mousse and by the end ate up to 5/6 a day. I still lost 4 kg!
  3. I'm so glad to hear someone say post op depression is real. I'm 5 weeks out and I've had some really bad days. But I did this for my whole family. I want to be around for them.
  4. I had 3 days of fibromyalgia pain as well due to weather change and my mood dropped. I'm not gonna say it's easy. I'm 5 weeks out and it's been tough. I have rheumatoid and fibromyalgia as well. I'm only 5 weeks out but there's been good days and really bad. It's not easy
  5. My doctor got me to drink it in hospital because I had a headache. They're all so different.
  6. I'm happy to be a buddy. I was sleeved on 15th march and it's been tough. No leaks or serious side effects but up and down mood and reflux. Taking it a day at a time?
  7. I'm 5 weeks out and so sick of myself. Very slow recovery and if I read another book or watch more tv I'll smash it. My husband is the fat controller and when I try to talk about the really down days he tells me to be positive. It's a hard bloody lonely process and I have to remember to take a day at a time. fML
  8. It's certainly the hardest surgery I've had and there's been a few. I'm week 5 today and after a good run I felt miserable and depressed. It's not for the faint hearted and when I'm alone I feel very vulnerable. I just hope the weeks get better, the pain goes and I get some energy. 17kg down at the 4 week mark but reflux drives me crazy.
  9. I love hearing people talk about the months. I'm 5 weeks out and my mood is all over the place.
  10. My week in hospital was hell and all I could think was why didn't I stay fat! I was dizzy for 4 weeks and I am 5 weeks today. It's not for the faint hearted and it definitely affected my mood. I do miss certain things and my portions are tiny. But I know I had to do this for me and my family
