How long after being banded can you really work out with weights and so so forth and do situps etc

Ann, How long before you noticed a difference in your clothes because I have been banded 2 weeks now and having a hard time fitting in my clothes meaning they are tight as before being banded they fit fine. I have lost 18lbs so far but were lol... I don't know

I was banded two weeks ago by Dr Pompa in TJ Mexico and I have droped 18 pounds and I have had no problems.

I am fours days I was Banded 4/24/08 man I had the tightness to and when I swallowed sometimes it felt like heartburn lol but it was me not drinking, but I am good now walking more feeling hungry also the protein shakes do help and I popsicles

lol...funny I was meaning at first being banded when you drink any liquid how does it feel can you feel a difference inside can you feel the band do you have to drink slow etc

Congrats!! Good Luck with your new life, my surgery is in 8 more days!!

10 Days before surgery i am nervous i don't know what the rate pain after the surgery is going to be like & how soon after will i feel hungry !! The scale of pain and not knowing is making me nervous and will I walk and sit funny for a couple days after will people notice (meaning my family) cause I am not telling no one except a good friend.

I am considering surgery in Mexico what I can tell you I asked the cordinator for current refernces of people who had the surgery and she gave me names numbers and emails and the people have had very good things to say and some with not so good but nothing out of the norm that does not happen here in the states so it really helped with my nerves
