As a newbie I'm asking "What kinda site is this?"
Best tip I can offer, if you click on someone’s name, then on the three dots to the right of their name, you can put them on ignore/block

Poopy probs pls help !
Definitely get your doctor's/nurse's advice but this is what mine had me do in that situation: 1) one tablespoon of milk of magnesia every hour for up to five hours 2) take a stool softener (I now take one daily before bed) 3) add benefiber (or similar) to my daily routine. I use the dissolvable powder in one of my bottles of water each day. 4) make sure you're drinking the amount of water they have told you to drink each day (my dr.'s requirement is 64 oz/day)

Feeling normal, seems odd.
I didn't have any issues for the first several days. Glad you're feeling well! Keep drinking water and moving!

Day 1 post op
Had bypass surgery on Monday. Trying to drink 64 ozs of fluids/day. Have sharp pains on my side. Not real bad, just like getting a stitch in your side. Only lasts a couple seconds. Am I sipping too much at one time?

April surgeries
2AM - just woke up. I had my surgery yesterday morning. I was so groggy afterwards I couldn't really wake up until around 4:00 PM. Sipping on water, walking the halls. Received an iv of something similar to Tylenol around 11 for pain. Pain really wasn't that bad but I figured it would help me sleep comfortably. Hope all my April 3 surgery buddies are doing well!

Another April 3rd here. Yep, worked from 8am to midnight yesterday since I'll be out for weeks. Now to go crazy cleaning my house so I don't have to think about it afterwards. Running on all liquids.

No support at home
That may be scared for you and don't know how to express it. Are they willing to accompany you to an appointment with your surgeon or a local support group? Maybe that would help.

April surgeries
Surprisingly, I'm more excited than nervous.

Any Out of Pocket cost for your surgery?
My co-pay is $1,009. I was told up front that I need to pay it at my final pre-surgery appointment with my doctor when I sign my consent forms.
