  1. I need advice too!! I'm five weeks out and am hungry all the time....even after I eat. And not only am I hungry all the time but I never feel full. No nausea, no vomiting, no "stuffed feeling, no pain in the chest, and no "I can't eat another bite" feeling at all. I've been sticking to the diet and keeping under 700 calories but I am miserable. I feel like I am on the worst diet of all time!! I was so hoping the Sleeve would help curb my hunger and give me an early sense of fullness! Sometimes I wonder if my doctor did anything to my stomach at all! Help!!
  2. Hi, I was sleeved 2/15 and I am still really, really hungry too. I know it's real hunger because when I drink something (shake, soup, milk) it goes away for a little while. But like you, I get hungry again really soon. I am so hoping that this hunger goes away at some point because I feel like I am on a starvation diet right now! It's been hard. Some people say we will fill fuller when we add solid foods. Let's hope that's true. Also, I was really emotional the first week and some people say it's because our fat releases hormones into our system when it is burned. Thus the flood of emotions. Hang in there! I am with you too!
  3. Hello Everyone, I am new to BP. Had my Sleeve done by Dr. Patterson at OWLS on 2/15. Looking for local sleepovers, buddies, mentors, and/or support. I live in Hillsboro.
  4. Hi Everyone, I'm new to BP. Had my Gastric Sleeve done on 2/15 with easy recovery but I am so hungry all the time now. I'm drinking 2-3 Premire shakes every day...drinking broth, tea, and soup in between...taking my Prilosec as ordered....but am so, so hungry! So worried my surgery was a waste.
  5. Hi Everyone, I'm new to BP. Had Gastric Sleeve on 2/15 with easy recovery but I am so hungry all the time. Drinking 2-3 Premier shakes a day....supplement with broth, tea, soup in between.....taking Prilosec as ordered. Very discouraged that I'm so hungry all the time. Anyone else with this or have an idea of what is going on?
