  1. The first day was really hard. But, it's been pretty easy since. And that's even though I have a 19 yr old son who has no concept of it being hard for me to do. The FIRST day, I was on it, he brought home pizza. I told him he was a turkey. Lol...
  2. I get 2 premier shakes, Jello, Popsicles, cottage cheese or yogurt (until the 2 days before) and a light, broth based Soup once a day.
  3. I'm so stoked! I started my pre-op diet last Sunday and today, when I stepped on the scale to weigh myself, I was rewarded to see a 13 lbs loss. My clothes are fitting loser and I can tell I am seeing the results the surgeon wants. Happy dance!
  4. I am on day 7 of my pre-op diet and as of this morning, I've lost a total of 13 lbs. But I didn't even expect to lose anything. Every OTHER damn diet I've done has yielded me hardly any results, I actually found myself surprised. Don't be discouraged. You are getting your body ready for surgery. Any weightloss on this part, is just an added perk.
  5. I feel better too. Not nearly as much hunger pains as I went through the first day
  6. I just started my pre-op diet. Today is my second day... I have 2 protein shakes a day, two snacks, which can be sugar free jello, pudding, or 1/2cup of fat free yogurt or cottage cheese, and ONE cup of broth based soup
  7. Oh gosh... prayers sent for a quick solution. That's horrible! I know that I couldn't just reschedule at the drop of a dime... don't they have a back up Dr who can step in?
  8. March 6th here too
  9. Cool. I've only tried the grape... didn't like it. I'll look into the others. Thanks
  10. Lol, right? I'm on the second day of my liquid diet... I CAN HONESTLY say the second day is definitely not as hard as the first.
  11. Thank you! I appreciate that, because I just don't like the Isopure at all...
  12. What a small world! That actually makes 3 of us. Well, I offer up prayers for all 3 of us to make it through and see our way to success!
  13. I have to do a mostly liquid pre-op. Protein shakes, sugar free jello, soups. . . For 2 weeks. Then for the last 3 days, TOTAL CLEAR LIQUIDS with the clear protein drinks. I WISH I just had to do under 1000 calories a day. That would be easier, I think.
  14. Congrats! That's my surgery date too. How cool is that?
  15. Hi everyone. My surgery is set for March 6th and I am getting super excited.. AND nervous. I start my pre-op diet on the 20th and I'm just wondering how that's going to go. What are good ways to combat any hunger pains?
  16. Hi guys. I've found Adkins berry, and Lemonade... I have NOT tried the Isopure yet, but I was wondering if there are any flavors that anyone especially likes? My surgery is set for the 6th of March... and I'm good for the Protein shakes... but with the clear, it might be nice to have a LITTLE more variety....
  17. Hi everyone. I am kinda going through this right now. My surgery is scheduled for March 6th. My Dr is only expecting 2 week pre-op diet, so THAT will start on the 20th ... I had my very last coke last night at the movies with my husband. I'm happy to say, I didn't even finish it. Drank a little less than half. I'm just so ready to get this done. I'm nervous and Excited and even a little scared. Hell, I looked up statistics on dying from this the other day, just because... YES, I am weird.
