My nutritionist has said over and over that I'll be learning portion control through my sleeve. When I spoke to get about the peeps she said as long as you are eating healthy 98% of the time a little piece of cake on my birthday or a piece of candy once in a while is not bad.

I never said I ate large volumes or fast. Wrong person buddy. I can't eat much at all. A few teaspoons of tuna and I'm full.

Before surgery I would have eaten the whole package, maybe two packages so eating only three and being satisfied is a huge accomplishment for me

I've lost 43 pounds , 60 to go and I don't regret the slip. They were delicious

I eat up to 8 ounces of food at a time with no problem and I eat kind of fast. Is this normal?

Hey a friend of mine living in NC can't find a Doc that takes her insurance. Do you mind sharing who you used for your surgery?

Appreciate the advice. I always beat myself up. Thankfully it wasn't the whole bag. Sugar addiction is real.

So I've lost 30 pounds and have been sticking to my nutrition plan but woke up last night finding I had eaten some hard candies! Yikes! I feel like an ass

Feeling really good. No pain, lost 26 pounds including pre op diet. My only complaint is I'm tired, a little cranky at times and dealing with head hunger. Still would do it again.

Liquids are going down easy. Not feeling a restriction much with liquid

Day 2 for me and I feel exactly the same as you. I know eventually it'll get better but I'm very uncomfortable right now

The meds help with the pain but drinking anything is hard. Can only get a few sips before I have to stop from stomach discomfort. I hope it gets easier to drink and eventually eat. I just want to feel normal again

Hi everyone, thank you for the well wishes. I'm one day post op and feeling pretty good. Still in the hospital but being released today. The gas pains were the worst I've ever experienced after surgery but they subsided within an hour. Good luck everyone

Everyone was right about the gas pain immediately after surgery. Its the worst but it subsides after a few hours and burps later.
