  1. I am just curious why you can only have liquids for the first couple of days after a fill.
  2. I had a hard week. I coughed a lot last week and a spirometer sounds like a good idea to help clear your lungs. I finally am feeling less nausea which I am greatful for. Hang in there.
  3. It is really hard but getting better. Hang in there.
  4. I was banded 5 days ago and the gas pains are really helped by walking.
  5. Hey Katiebugs, I am from GA also. I just got banded 3/28. I was thin as a teenager but when I went to college I went up to180lbs. After my second child I reached a max weight of 235. I am 5'5". I am really excited about what the band will help me accomplish. I have not had that much pain because I am taking my pain medication and have only been on clear liquids and have not been that hungry. Good luck with your journey.
  6. I am glad I am not the only one who has cheated. My surgery is tommorrow. I mostly have stuck with the sugar busters diet for the last two weeks, which is what my surgeon asks us to do, but if I were a great dieter I would not need lap-band.
  7. Thanks for posting. I am nervous and excited about tommorrow. I appreciate the encouragement.
