  9. I made sure i had my Protein drinks. GNC has a program where if you dont like the flavor or whatever about it, you can get a refund. I tried a few different kinds of broth. I found a chicken and beef one i liked. I dont know why, but my opinion is that the broth was so much easier to get down than plain Water. I also got sugar free popsicles - one of my faves because it takes time to have and wasnt too much liquid for me. Another thing i cant seem to go without is the sugar free water flavor things. Those things have gotten me through my 16 days post-op. Find things you can have and find what you like. Sent from my SM-G930P using BariatricPal mobile app
  10. Follow up. I had to follow up so much. However, i got my surgery date once i got my insurance approval. Just be persistent and patient. Just my opinion. Here's to an op date! Sent from my SM-G930P using BariatricPal mobile app

  13. Something I wish I would have asked my surgeon is if there is a link between having the sleeve or any weightloss surgery and gall bladder surgery. A friend of mine had the sleeve April of last year and had her gall bladder removed in October. My op report mentioned gall stones likely in my gall bladder so I'm worried that I too will end up having that surgery too. Sent from my SM-G930P using BariatricPal mobile app

  18. Hi Karen, I am too! My boyfriend and daughter went to Subway and it smelled soooo good. I had a half cup of unsweetened applesauce. I told them not to worry, that i need to get used to people around me eating things i cant have, but i nearly cried when we were leaving Subway. I wanted something so bad. I know it will get easier but I am here to say you arent alone! Sent from my SM-G930P using BariatricPal mobile app

  22. Hi, just want to send support to you. It isn't easy and some days are better than others. I hope you have a lot of better days ahead. Sent from my SM-G930P using the BariatricPal App
  23. I was excited eight up until they were pushing the bed to the OR. I started to get teary-eyed and they reassured me. Being scared before a surgery is natural. Don't forget there are so many people here that felt the same way as you and it's ok. And you'll be ok. Sent from my SM-G930P using the BariatricPal App

  26. Hi Joann, I'm 11 days post-op, so I havent experienced as much as you have yet. What I have been told is that it does get better and that it takes a different amount of time for different people to find that new normal. I have seen those who have had the sleeve done over a year ago and they are happy and do enjoy meals. You did the right thing for you. I dont think i have ever met someone that had the surgery say they regretted it. Im certain it will get better for you. I hope it does quickly so you can enjoy your weightloss. 27. I have a very supportive friend who bought me a small bowl and a small plate that makes my portions appear normal. I am on week 2 post-op diet. I am kind of scared of how my stomach will react to new things. I understand about missing foods and I hope.you have the best success with having the right balance. 29. I was sleeved on 1/26 and I am sxheduled to go back to work on the 13th. I don't think I am ready so I am going to be requesting another week. There are ladies that I work with that have taken 1, 2, or 3 weeks off. I want to stick with caution and take the time to heal, rest, and be ready. Sent from my SM-G930P using the BariatricPal App
