  1. just wondering, since i am newly banded 5/22, when everyone refers to the fills and more restriction, does it feel like I feel now. i feel very restricted, nauseated .
  2. I too was banded on 5/22. and have had the same reactions as you mentioned. when I awoke this morning I was ready to call my md and see when this thing could come out. I dont have pain, only nausea and diarrhea. still not sure what i have done and if it doesn't get better how i can have it removed. i am very sad.
  3. JoJoBanana, I just read your response (although it been here awhile) and wanted to say thankyou.. i was feeling a little like the person that wanted her band removed and what have I done. This website has really helped me today in more ways then I can even recognize. thanks to all
  4. I really enjoyed your response to the lady that was banded recently. I too was banded on 5/22 and am having a heck of a time adjusting. Today , so far, I feel better then yesterday. I just feel like I am waking from a fog and asking myself "what have I done" as if I didn't know what I was doing.. I too am worried about getting sick due to being around others that are sick... do the md's want to be contacted if we start vomiting with a GI bug?
  5. lexy, i was also banded on 5/22 and have had some of the same problems. mainly i have this feeling of having something foreign in my stomach. i am on full liquid diet now , but cant seem to find anything to eat. the diarrhea is all i have had and pressure upper stomach... i wonder if this is normal???

i had my surgery 5/22, and i have asked myself the same question that your husband asked. i feel like crap. very bloated, nauseated and sore.. are you having any of these ?
  7. just wondering how you are feeling? i was banded on 5/22 and feel not so good. bloating and nausea... not able to drink all required and forget about the shakes
  8. i was banded on 5/22, you sound like you are doing great.. i worry that i will never feel the same again. i have bloating, and major incisional pain. i cant get my fluids in because i am so nauseated...
  9. hi , i was banded on 5/22 and was wondering if your still having problems with nausea and bloating?
  10. Once you went to the seminar , what did they estimate your wait time to be? I have done everything, labs, ekg, xray, pshch. eval, wellness class, and will be at my last class tomorrow night (support group) , insurance class, mammogram, papsmear and GI clearance. My est. surgical month is June!! I think that is absolutely crazy. Did WLSC put you through so many loop holes? Just considering going across the HRBT and checking out WLSC???
  11. Hi, the fee at nsg is $495.00. the wait time is just crazy. i think it is more admin on the dr's side then tricare. I understand that the tricare approval process is very quick. How much was the fee at wlc?
  12. You are correct, they cover both
  13. I also live in the tidewater area of Virginia. I was referred to the tricare site for information. I have tricare standard and the site listed the criteria for approval- 100 lbs overweight . I am going through Norfolk Surgical Group at Norfolk General ( when ever the md gets moving) are you going to use the weight loss center in Hampton? If so what is their time frame like? It is 3-5 months with nsg.
