I've been doing the Preop diet since Oct 27th. My surgery is scheduled for Thursday and today I had pizza, not just 1 piece either. If I can't even suceed in the begining how can I expect to soar once I have the band?? Please no negative comments, I'm beating myself up enough. I'm so disappointed in myself that I want to cry.

I completely agree with the last post. I am in the same situation except I have to wait the 6 months and if I lose 10lbs I don't qualify. 25 lbs isn't too difficult but the rest is. Wait until after you talk to your surgeon. Good luck!

Hello, I'm in IL too, yorkville/sugar grove. I live across the street from the new raging waves Water park. Have you heard that BC/BS IL will reject the first time? I started this process March 08. I had GreatWest health ins and they had me go on a 6 mo eval plan, Since then I have married and now have BC/BS IL. I should find out what they require in the next month or so.

Hello, I'm new to this site. I have only went to the seminar so far. My apt with Dr is on April 2nd. So I don't know if I'll have to wait 6mos or not. Hang in there! The wait will be worth it. Do you have to have PCP approval? Mrsgriffin2u the list you have is that what needs to be done?

I had a baby on January 16th. How soon is it safe to have the lap band done? I have an apt on April 2nd to start the process. How soon will they allow me to have the procedure done? Any info/comments would be great. Thank you!!!!!!
