  6. Does anyone have Medicare insurance? If so can you give me some insight as to the approval process? I have a rider through Viva I'm in Alabama but Medicare will be paying for surgery if I get approved. I presently weigh 234 5'2 BMI 42 no current health problems other than Bipolar disorder.   11. Yes I'm trying to find the answer to my question? I have a BMI of 41 my insurance only covers BMI of 40 or more. I have to go on six month diet what if I lose weight that drops me below 40 BMI will my insurance not cover? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
