I don’t think anyone looking to get this procedure have a desire to die. I am just trying to see if someone might have something useful to share that I may have overlooked. But unfortunately ppl sometimes only promote what they want u to know or what may benefit them. But thanks for your input.

Hello everyone, I’ve been going back and forth for years now on getting the surgery done due to financial reasons and nerves. I contacted Mx Bariatrics team (Illan) was approved earlier this year but had to back out. I’m ready to bite the bullet & go to Mexico in the new year (2018) but I want to know do you guys have any other suggestions other than Illan? I have no issues with him I just feel like I should have more options & not put all my eggs in one basket. For some reason I’m scared because he is really popular now & I don’t want to be the one that gets a bad turnout... Idk if that makes sense to you all but I’m an over thinker. I don’t know who to go with because I can’t stop looking at new stuff lol. I’ve been researching for about 2 yrs now and it’s all starting to run together. Am I crazy??

@@fatgirlfreed hello, I have not had my surgery yet but I am jumping on the Mexico train. I had all my appointments scheduled in the U.S. But as @@O-Town Body Rock said it was just too many appointments and time off that I knew I wouldn't be able to take & I was nervous I would get denied because my insurance isn't the best so now I'm in the process of finding a surgeon in Mexico & I plan to go in the summer when my children are out of school & we'll just consider it a vacation.

@@shedo82773 Thanks again for being so open. How did you know you were having complications with scar tissue? I had previous surgery (c-sections) and was wondering what to be on the look out for. Did u feel a certain way? I'm so happy to hear you and your hubby are doing well. You guys went they a lot. I meant went through a lot

I'll be sure to ask about post op diet instructions. What facility did belite put you guys in if you don't mind? The hand washing situation is unbelievable Did you also have your surgery in Mexico? How was it compared to your husband's? Thank you for your honesty!!

@@VSGVega thank you for responding I am aware of the hospital/ clinic thing. How do you fully check the surgeons credentials? Is there a website? Lucky you get to have your surgery in March that's my birthday month!! I was looking at your chosen surgeon for myself. Keep me posted on your adventure. Best of luck & thanks again!!

I had a consultation in the states, went to a seminar & had all my appointments booked but honestly I'm just not patient enough to go through my insurance process to probably get denied. So I'm looking to do self pay outside the U.S. now. I've silently been researching( stalking) lol for over a year now. I just want any insight from others on something I could have missed like you said.

Hello Everyone Happy New Year!!!! I am in my research stage and I'm looking to have gastric sleeve in Mexico summer 17. If you guys have any info to share about your surgeon or experience I would greatly appreciate it. Also do you think it is better to book through the surgeon directly or to use a coordinator or something? Any feedback, suggestions, things to avoid? I'm all ears!!! And if you have a YouTube or something I'll gladly check it out. Thanks????
