Reason for stalling
I had my surgery December 5th. Ive been at a stall for about 3 weeks now. I've gotten down to 312 lbs and cannot seem to get passed this number. I'm starting to get depressed because I feel like I should be under 300lbs now. I've spoken with several people that have had the surgery and they said that it could be that I am not having a bowel movement regular. Have anyone else experience this? What can I do to get the numbers moving again? Hw:350 Sw:323 Cw:312 Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Question?
A woman that was in the doctors office with me had already had her surgery date and she wanted the bypass and my surgeon said that he wouldn't recommend it for so many reasons. She told him that she really wanted it and that if he didn't do it then she would find another surgeon. He told her to do her homework and bring him some info of all the reasons why she felt that it was the right one for her and he would do it. She did just that and he did the surgery and I saw her again for my post op visit and she said that it was the worst thing she could have ever done. I just think it's a more invasive surgery which has more risk of complications. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Sleeved on December 30th
@@mzyaz I think we all have had that same exact thought but believe me it gets so much better after you see the weight coming off!! I went on my liquid diet the week of Thanksgiving and I thought that it was the worst thing I could have ever done. Surprisingly I was ok because I put it in my mind that I wanted a life change and this was the start of it. I think we have to understand that we were addicts of food it doesn't change over night and we are still adjusting. You have days that you wanna just go back to being the old you but I promise the new you will love you for what you have done!! Just keep at it and remember it's a mental thing and once you start to accept that then it will get a whole easier!!! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I'm on the puréed stage and I've noticed when I ate mashed potatoes my weight would stall. So I won't be eating that anymore. Any suggestions on other puréed foods? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App- calling all December 2016 sleevers!
