  5. This may seem crazy, but my wife bought a few small jars of baby food (turkey, chicken, beef etc). 6grams of protein, 0sugar, 0 carbs and may be a perfect serving size for the new belly!   8. Welcome aboard Blev! It all depends on your insurance, but usually 3-6 consecutive months of supervised. Nutritionist, exercise and psych visits are part of it.   10. I haven't had the procedure yet (Feb,9th) and from all of the preparing and reading I have done, this is what concerns me most...putting the weight back on afterwards. I'm now joining a couple groups in apps like myfitnesspal, with others that are/have gone through this. Goal is to motivate and keep challenging one another.   13. I have to take the Vitamin D supplements as well. I also started the Biotin now as my Doc seemed to think it may help with hair loss down the road. To be honest, I think I'm gonna be shaving my head later anyways so not too concerned about that Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
  14. I have similar and starting tomorrow. Protein shakes and no more than 24g of carbs, <6g sugar per serving and Clear liquids. Tough part will be next weekend (Super Bowl!) Let me know how you do tomorrow Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
  15. You should be fine, it takes about 3-5 weeks for nicotine to be out of the blood system, even less for urine test. You can google it as well to confirm.   23. That's great! I didn't know the history, but sounds like your ready to go! You may be able to shorten the time if you can show that you have been actively working on a weight loss goals.   24. Each is different, I had a 6 month supervised and initially hoped it were sooner, I am now great full as I have been able to get my mind and self really ready for this. Our life and old habits are gonna change, and the time allows for us to be really ready to make sure we will maintain.
