  1. Are you coming to the meeting on Sat for people banded by the SWLC?
  2. Most weekday evenings work for me and downtown is fine too! I am registered for the luncheon so perhaps I will see you there.
  3. Well do we want to meet for coffee? What area of town works best for everyone? Which clinic in TO are you getting banded at? There is a luncheon in Calgary this weekend for those banded by the SWLC and I was wondering if anyone was going?
  4. Hey I am from Edmonton too and would love to meet! I just got banded May 15th!
  5. My doctor includes cream of wheat on the full fluids part. I know all doctors have different guidelines though.

    I had a very bad experience flying after my surgery. Most likely because I was dehydrated and hadn't really eaten anything. If you are going to fly on the third day my advice is to make sure you are well hydrated and have had something that will raise your blood sugar before you go.
  7. Hi, I am curious if you made a decision? I am also debating between dr. K and Toronto. My fear is that if something goes wrong with the surgery in the US then as a Canadian I have no insurance.
