  3. I'm glad to say I'm completely finished with everything that was on my checklist required from the insurance and the surgeon! I just have 1 last weigh in to do on April 28th and everything will get submitted to the insurance after that. The good thing is, my insurance approval turnaround time is 72hrs!! I am overly excited. My doctor only wanted me to lose 5lbs before surgery and I lost 7 so far. (3 month program) but I am willing to lose as much more as I can to be healthy! anyone have any tips for me?

    Pre op supervised diet

That is amazing!!!! I plan to have my surgery done in the early part of May. im basically done with the required things to do, I have 1 more weigh in but I do still want to lose as much as I can before surgery. my surgeon only wanted me to lose 5 lbs. but I lost 7 so far. I was just wondering how to kick start and lose more. and I see people doing low carb high protein and I kind of wanted ideas on the meal plans because I see that it does work for you all!

  7. I Also thought this was a lot of appointments. I started the process on Jan 18th! Met with the surgeon and patient advocate. Patient advocate gave me a check list of things that has to be done by April 18th. My insurance require a 3 month weight management program (weigh in every 30 days for 90 days), 1 psychological visit, 1 nutritional visit. Surgeon requirements are Blood work, Endoscopy & cardiac clearance & to lose 5lbs by the end of the 90 days. I only completed the Egd on the 3rd & labs on 1/20. April 20th will make my 90 days & then they can submit everything to the insurance. Im hoping to get sleeved in May. That'll be a nice mothers day present. But Geeeshh this is a lot when your working a full time 9-5☺

  15. To all of my vets!! Did anyone have to get a tummy tuck after a huge amount of weight loss? If so, did your insurance cover it, As it being Medically Necessary? I know some people said they snapped back without a tummy tuck and others had very loose skin.

@@_bribri1001 your doing amazing hun! I sure wish my butt was 206 as of right now & I haven't even had the surgery yet. Just imagine there is someone out there that's wanting to be exactly where you are. You have plenty of months to go for it to shed off. Always remember "weight loss is a sprint, not a marathon" it'll happen but not overnight!
