  2. I need t know what you did so I can follow it exactly. Please tell ne
  3. Feeling much better. That will never happen again. I've been sipping on my protein shakes and has some broccoli and cheese soup. I have my post op appointment coming up so I will bring it up to them. I'm hopeful and believe I'm fine now. I feel fine
  4. I just came home from surgery (3 days post op) and I ate a orange. It just totally crossed my mind that that wasn't allowed. I feel horrible physically and emotionally. I feel like a failure. It felt like a rock was stuck in my throats. I threw up what I could. I'm feeling a lil better and taking sips of Water but I just feel horrible. I took my liquid hydrocodone but I threw up most of that too. Ugh. I'm just a disaster.
  5. I'm sitting in the surgical waiting room. I can't believe this is actually happening. I'm excited. I prayed this morning and I know God is in control. You guys just don't know how ready I am to begin my new life. I understand that it's a tool and I would have to put the work in but the fact that it will help me to achieve my goals is awesome. I've been unhappy for so long. Let's talk. I'm bored. Any advice? Encouraging words? What should I expect when I wake up? Pain?
  6. @shawnak911 too late. I lifted couches, treadmill and mattress. On top of it I haven't slept. What happens?
  7. Tomorrow at 9:30 am I am scheduled for bypass surgery. I'm currently moving out of my apartment and into a new one. I'm doing heavy lifting and running around town trying to get moved out all while on my starvation diet. Will this affect my surgery at all. Google has no answers. Please help me. I'm freaking out
  8. @bsweetness you look amazing. Have you experienced loose skin at all.
  9. @bsweeetness I'm a little less worried. But I also heard horror stories about the liver getting punctured and trouble happening. I'm glad everything work out for you. How much did you lose?
  10. Thanks. I'm praying. Congrats!!! How are you feeling?
  11. Amazing transformation! What was your starting weight and what is your current weight?
  12. I'm scheduled for tomorrow to have the Bypass and I'm super nervous and excited at the same time. I have a feeling of being unprepared. I have my hospital bag, pain meds and all the essentials but it feels like I'm unprepared. I had 8 days of the liver shrinking liquid diet and I didn't do so well. The 1st couple of days were rough so I cheated. The last 3 days I've been basically starving myself. (Water and Protein shake) I'm nervous that it won't be enough. I would be crushed if I couldn't have the surgery or something went wrong because of my negligence. Had anyone experienced that will a large BMI. I'm so nervous.
  13. Thanks guys! I haven't started my pre op yet but I will "show her how it's done". I'm taking this seriously. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  14. Hey guys! My friend/co worker had her surgery about a month ago and I'm scared for her. I feel like she's doing everything wrong. Shes not eating (claim to be not hungry). When she does eat it's something unhealthy. She hasn't started on any Vitamins yet because she said she isn't ready to swallow. She removed the bandages from her incisions and they aren't healing as they should. I'm really concerned. We both started this journey together and she had her surgery before me. I've talked to her but she has her own idea as to what she should do. She's losing weight but I'm just not happy about how she's doing things. What should I do? 16. It's pretty basic and standard. Just completed mine on the 30th and it went well. They just want to make sure you know the risk of surgery and that you understand that it's a tool to weight loss. If you have an signs of depression or anxiety they will deny you. She told me that. You should be fine Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
