  1. Hi Dori, I'm hoping to have my surgery in April. Does Dr Krahn do all the fills? When I had my first consultation apt. the office was soooooo full and I was bounced around from room to room because it was so busy. I was put in an office to talk to his assistant, before I saw Dr. Krahn. I know he is well qualified but I'm wondering if most of the post op fills etc are done by his staff.
  2. Have you gone to the open conference classes by Dr Krahn? They are very informative. He does the lap band in San Bernardino and in Rancho Cucamonga, but I don't know if the Rancho Cucamonga is out paitent only or not. I've only got the psyc. evaluation to comlpete then I will get a date set for surgery. Good Luck to you!!!!!
  3. HAS ANYONE used DR. KRAHN from WESTERN BARIATRIC.
  4. Hi, I'm in the process of getting all the pre op paperwork done for banding but I am approved. I have so many questions about slippage. From what I've been told the band causes a scar tissue around the stomach so it doesn't slip after the original healing, it acts as an adhesive. How can a band slip years later? Is the surgery the same for the repair as it was the first time? Since it slipped, did they put it back in the same place? Is there any way to keep a band from slipping? I am self pay and am terrified all the costs will be mine. Also, how far into the future can I expect to eat normal food? I'll be on liquids for 4 weeks after surgery, then soft food, the well chewed. What foods are never to be eatten?
  5. keep up the good work:rolleyes2:
