I too had the same feelings, I was in so much pain I was hitting the narcotics I was sent home with...Good news though, I am 4 weeks out today and the pain is all but gone!!! Try to sleep with a small pillow around your tummy and on a side that isnt sore. Sounds like you may be doing too much??? too Early?? Relax, take some time to heal. GOOd luck

HEllo all Just had my 58th birthday last thursday, am so glad to see this site! I thought I was in the minority for lap band surgery:scared2:, now I see there are plenty of us out there! I was banded on June 11th by Dr Jeffrey Lord in Pensacola, FL. I go back the 22nd of July for my first fill, kinda concerned if I will be able to eat like I do now?? will it feel really tight and sore, cause I just now have gotten over the terrible soreness from the surgery around my port site!:cool: Is there anyone out there from the panhandle of Florida, I havent found anyone myself? I have lost 22lbs so far, kinda disappointed, but I have to keep reminding my self I didnt gain all this weight in 4 weeks:rolleyes2: name is Bev

Hello there, I live about 45 miles east of Pensacola in Santa Rosa Beach FL, (its right outside Destin) I too havent found anyone in my area, but there should be plenty in Pensacola since the hospitals are there,right?? I was banded 4 weeks ago, Dr Friedman at Sacred Heart Med Ctr, now he has left and I have to go to Dr Jeffrey Lord, who is great anyway, oh yeah and my name is Bev
