  1. No you will show your tummy to the surgeon when you get your Goal weight. That is a personal appt Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  2. No...when you meet with your surgeon they will evaluate you to determine how much weight you need to lose pre op. Also! Be prepared to show your tummy to him at this appointment lol that caught me off guard! Yes you will remove your shoes! I wish I would have worn heavier clothes during my weigh in lol but the nurse will tell you what to do! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  3. Expect to be weighed! Also, prepare to be open minded about all the information that is being provided and to make a list of questions that you may think you have for win you go. They most likely will go over your questions by the end of the orientation. Its an amazing program so far! I am still trying to lose the weight to get to my goal weight that Dr. Grinberg provided me with. Goodluck!!
  4. I found out today from my surgeon he wants me to lose 21 lbs...I'm so anxious about it because it's so tough to imagine that happening but I have to stay positive! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  6. I got my psychology apt with Dr Helge on 12/20. I was hoping I would get to see a surgeon first! ☹️️ I want to know what I need to lose! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  7. I am getting ready to attend my So Sacramento orientation on 12/8. My husband is supportive but I do feel the pressure when trying to explain it to anyone else. According to my BMI I am a candidate but I also get the "you don't look like you're that fat" speech. I say do what's best for you! Good luck! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
