  1. I'm 8 days post op and I have always slept on my belly up until my surgery. For the past week I have had to sleep on my back. Lying on my tummy doesn't hurt too bad at all now, is it okay to sleep on your tummy this soon? Would appreciate any feedback! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  2. Yes I'm one week post op as well and I couldn't sleep for more than 3-4 hours at a time. I still have pain getting up and down and in/out of bed. I just get up super slowly and use my legs instead of any tummy muscles. Still can't sleep on my side either. Every day it gets slightly better but I'm guessing this is normal because we are still healing. Hope this helps :-) Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  3. My nut has me taking Flinstones complete chewable Vitamins 2x per day and Citrical+vitaminD (2 pills twice per day). The calcium in citrical is calcium citrate. Hope this helps :-) Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  4. Had my surgery on the 14th and trust me I have no hunger. Maybe head hunger but that's it. You'll be good if you even get in all your protein/fluids. First 5 days were the worst for me on the pre-op diet. When your family is having dinner, leave the room. It helps. Also sugar free popsicles when you are about to snap. Hope this helps :-) Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  5. Thanks so much I kept hearing the term I thought maybe it was a group you could join. Lol I'm silly but glad to say that I'm on the losers bench as if Wednesday. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  10. Food sounds amazing right now but I know that the food is most likely not what I'm picturing. If i were allowed food I think it would be more difficult. What do you do when you're struggling? I'd love some advice. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  11. I'm having a hard time convincing myself that cheating is not an option. I recently moved and lost the list of appropriate liquids for my diet so I've been drinking Protein shakes, broth, and Water. I emailed my nutritionist but won't get a reply till Monday. So I'm totally just continuing these 3 items since they're the Only ones I remember being able to have. When will my stomach stop growling in public? It's super embarrassing! :-( Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  12. I'm on Day 3 of liquid diet and I'm miserable. It's taking EVERYTHING for me not to cheat. I keep hearing it will get easier.. I'm hopeful. You've come this far, forget the scale and take heart in knowing that you are determined. I'm right there with you :-) Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
