I went in May, 2007. My favorite thing is to walk in the mornings. I started with a half mile, then kept on. I bought some very good shoes, put an insole in them to cushion me. I try to walk every day. My minimum is an hour, or three miles. That has saved me. Only 52 pounds though. My volume of food is pretty small and I reflux at night, but I eat whatever I fix for the family and I like a glass or two of wine.

    When was your band done?
  3. I have never told the people at my work about LB. If I get sick, I have said, "Oh, I had a little surgery and my stomach is sensitive." The weight loss is pretty slow and I have been on diets before. I've lost 49-50 pounds in 8 months. Just keep your mouth shut.
  4. Thanks, shortgal. I go next Monday. I think I'll chart what I eat at night, when, and how often it happens.
  5. Maybe I do need a slight unfill-- horrors! I'm afraid I will gain. It's already tough to lose now after 8 months
  6. I have this coughing and spitting some nights. I try to not eat late, sleep on 3 pillows, etc. Last time I went in the nurse practitioner wanted to take out some fill. I told her I thought I could fix it without doing that, but it is still occurring, though not every night. I have protonix I take in the morning, an acid controller (OTC) I take at night. I've even taken prilosec, and/or protonix at night. I know that spicy contributes to it and chocolate, which I really don't eat anyway. I could use some more help.
