  1. Hi Nicole. I'm getting bypass on the 31st. Loving Me
  2. You are fine. Anytime you drink at least 40 Oz or more in water, your pee is clearer. I had mine to a point where it was clear. Just know it's a good thing. Loving Me
  3. Ok I will ask my Dr tomorrow about that one. She is happy about the surgery, so I know anything she could do to help, she will. Thanks Loving Me
  4. Ok. I'm on the pill now. I'm going to call my GYN tomorrow to see if I can get on a different BC for 18 months. 18 months will be around my 40th birthday so that would be a great gift. Loving Me
  5. Awesome! Happy New Year. I have Bypass on the 31st. I totally get where you are coming from in regards to losing weight as you get older. I wish you the best of luck! See you on the loser bench. Loving Me

  7. This is great post for me. I'm 38 with PCOS. Just got married 4 months ago and my husband is 40. We both want kids, so this bypass surgery on the 31st will prayerfully bring us our family by year's end. Loving Me
  8. I am. I started a new IG page just for this journey. It's private because of some pictures, but I accept all WLS community. Thenewdanni_rny Loving Me
  9. Awesome! I told him, if I'm losing weight, you are too. He's overweight also. So we are getting a gym membership and let the loser challenge begin...???????? Loving Me

  11. My husband is behind me 110%, however he will say "you look great to me" or "you really aren't that big". Honey, all due respect, I can't even tie my damn shoes without un-buckling my pants and taking a deep breath and holding it. Dude...hush up. Support me and we will be alright. Love ya. Loving Me
  12. Ok that's new. But I hope it was painless. But $100. Yikez. Loving Me
  13. Mine took about 2 hours. The 1st time I went through this process about 6 yrs ago, they didn't approve me. They stated I had a lot going on in my life and felt I wouldn't succeed. This time around, I'm in a better place. You can't prepare for this. They are looking for feelers. How do you handle stress, what is your support system, have you ever been depressed, if so, how did you deal with it, what going on in your life currently, etc.... they are trying to determine if you will be a success or not succeed after surgery. Just go in there, be yourself, know your weaknesses and plan of action. Good luck! You'll do great Loving Me Thanks for replying!! I feel like *just* because I'm converting they may not approve me - for my lack of success the first time. I feel like I have a great support system and have actively learned the new aspects of the surgery and implemented them and still carry many of the old lessons and lifestyle changes I learned from when I was banded. The lady that scheduled me freaked me out. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App Don't freak out. All that you just said, is the same thing you want to say. You learned from your 1st experience. Here is what I learned..... it's always good to be honest then not tell the full truth. Loving Me
  14. For me, all my drs talk. Their all in the same network. So if 1 Dr does blood work, they all get it. So this helped the surgeon a lot. And if you have IG, follow me at thenewdanni_rny Loving Me
