  1. I noticed that you listed "sushi rice". I've been craving sushi, but I'm worried about the rice. Is there a difference between normal rice and sushi rice? Sent from my SM-T813 using the BariatricPal App
  2. Surgery date: 10/18/16 Starting weight: 296 Surgery weight: 285 Current weight: 234 (51 since surgery; 62 since the journey began) Sent from my SM-T813 using the BariatricPal App
  3. I'm 2 months post-op and have had a feeling of food getting stuck at the stomach opening since about 1 month out. I get the feeling no matter what I eat or drink (even Water and Protein shakes), and no matter how long I take to chew and how long between bites. I had a barium swallow that showed nothing at 1 month, so my doc just said chew better and eat slower. Today at my 2 month check up, I pretty much begged her to do something. I'm miserable and don't want to eat/drink anything. (Good side is that I've lost 58lbs in 2 months.) She scheduled an EGD (scope) for next week. Has anyone else had the same feeling of food getting stuck? If so, what helped? Sent from my SM-T813 using the BariatricPal App
  4. Do any of you have party food recipes that are post-sleeve friendly? I'm 8 weeks post-surgery and on the "new life diet", but am wondering what foods I can make for a Christmas party. Sent from my SM-T813 using the BariatricPal App
  5. I live in Mississippi, on the Gulf Coast, where it very seldom gets below 40 degrees, but I'm still freezing. Never wore a jacket unless it was close to 40, and I was going to be outside. Now I wear a jacket most of the time, even indoors. Sent from my SM-T813 using the BariatricPal App
