  1. I am 3 weeks post op and lost about 24 pounds from the day I started pre op liquid diet. I heard that at one point you stop losing, but after a while you start losing again. Keep it up! Good luck Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  5. That is great! How long you are after the surgery? I also was on Victoza and 2 Metformin. After the surgery the doctor took away Victoza and 1 Metformin, but since my sugar level is still on a higher level I take now 2 pills. Maybe the time frame is still short.   7. Did you check with your doctor? Do you intake aspirin? I was prescribed Aspirin after the surgery. If you do take aspirin, it might be the reason. Consult with the doctor. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  8. I have diabetes type 2, that was the main reason why I decided to do the surgery. I am 3 weeks post op and my sugar level is still in 150-160 range. Good part that I do not inject Victosa anymore. So far I lost 24 p. and was hoping to see the numbers go down more. Very frustrated! Does anyone have the same problem?.   10. I think that I do not drink enough, trying to get more Water today. Already had 32 ounces of water. Are you taking Vitamins and B12? I saw on this app that they have Vitamin Patches.   13. I am 3 weeks post-sleeve and on a purée stage. Did not have any problem at all and had energy, but yesterday and today I feel very sluggish and lightheaded, sleepy. Not sure if I am getting enough calories or Protein. Trying to have Water, but do not have the full 48 ounces a day. Any suggestions on nutritions and schedule?   15. Find a good trusted Bariatric doctor and have a second opinion. All the symptoms you describe do not sound good. I did my surgery 2 weeks ago and already at work, no pain, no vomiting. Please do your research and go to somebody knowledgeable. . Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  16. It might be that your body retains Water and those couple pound most likely the water. You have to drink 6-8 glasses of water and your weight should go down little by little. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  19. I did my surgery on 11/16, still on the liquid diet. I was losing 1-2 pound a day and so far lost 19 pounds. Couple days I am not losing anything. Did anyone experienced the same? Is that normal? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  20. Thanks, make sense, I decided to do the procedure because of my health problems, diabetes, etc. and my sugar is down already. Today the first time the sugar level was 121. I took only half of metformin. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  23. I am on my second week after the surgery, so far lost 19 pounds, 11 on pre-op liquid diet, came home and had a jump of 5 pounds, so total for 9 day after the surgery lost 12 pounds. Looked like I was losing 1-2 pounds a day, but my weight is the same from yesterday. Maybe I did not have enough liquid yesterday? Does anyone know? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  25. I am new to this forum. Had my surgery on November 16th. Amazingly did not have any pain. Was discharged home next day and go back to work this Monday. My two week post-op diet ending Wednesday, but I am so busy at the office that I am not sure how I will be able to manage drinking every time. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
