6 days till I start my pre-Op Diet. Surgery is Dec. 19th... My question is... I have severe IBS, I would say my stomach hurts 70% of the time. There is no one things that sets it off. Does anyone else have IBS? If so, how did you do after surgery? My neurologist said that the sleeve would not correct the IBS but it would decrease the discomfort tremendously! However, I have not been able to find any information on-line to back up his statement. It does make sense, changing your diet and decreasing food intake. Dana

My surgery date is Dec. 19th, it took about 7 mths of appointments and such to get all my requirements for insurance approval.

What is everyone's estimated time off of work? I am really stressing about this. I don't want to be off too long. I was thinking a week. I am a retail manager with a good team that requires me little physical work.

Hello everyone... First post, been reading but wanted to want for my date to interact. My sleeve date is Dec 19th... Merry Christmas to me. I am excited and scared at the same time.
