Hi Bariatric fam! Is something wrong with my sleeve of i have not thrown up not even one time? Is mines bigger that everyone elses? I had dry heeves in the hospital but never threw up completly! Still on liquids, but now liquid with more substance like delli chicken noodle Soup, but dip the broth out, leavin noodles & meat chucks in the pot, but it still has chicken shavings in, soooooo delicious! Ok ???? well my apologies i think everyone is a open as i am-RESPECT(towards you), but on some real stuff ( not sure if you can cuss on here im kinda new also) im the coolest person you ever wanna meet, but i turn into a She when im hungry, as i have been since 12/15! Look, ma you gotta be strong i know its not easy! But your gonna thank yourself & modern medicine & God, when people start giveing you compliment, trust me , it give you life when people compliment you on your success! Granted ive always been obese, but within the last year i became morbidly obease @ 290, thats when i decided on the procedure, now where thinging my unexpected weight gain may. Hv been because of a Thyroid problems, well i wish some would hv told me that 4,500$ ago, im a self pay patient, i went to Tijuana for my procedures, so by my doc not being in the states, as hungy and as hangry as i hv become, I knew there was no room for error! Sooo im Sitting in my generals practitioners office for routine check up ( not related to Bariatric center doctor) 6 days post opp... 282, no official weight loss, only the Fluid weight from surgery & IV's (281 at hospital admission 12/15 & 287 @ hospital release 12/17) & Doc is thinkin something's wrong because if ive been on liquid s this whole time, there should be a few more pounds off the scale , especially, since i was exactly 282 exactly 30 days ago in his office... SO He give me the Thyroid neck test where you swallow.... and there it was... Doc was puzzled as to why he had not noticed it b4, since i go see him every 30 days for my Adipex 37.5! So im schedule for some kind of X ray & scan.... im still hanging in there!!! Im very active and go to the gym no problem... but i couldn't figure out why i was still gaining weight at a not so slow rate! I think this person is fake guys! No info on the profile? Look im 6 days post opp & if anyone is having a hard time withe the 2 wk liquid post opp diet (followed by 2 wk soft foods) its me!!! But bcuz my dr. Is im Mexico, i cant play with this, at times i feel like im going insane ive been so hungery!T his person seems to hv given up before he or she left the operating table! Im a social media celebrity & i know all about fake profiles, some one could be play with us while we are taking time to type our heartfelt concerns.... think about it, you cant even physically sip the liquids b4 a few days , but this person says they been eating everything in less than a week? I am 4 days post opp, surgery date 12/15/16, im 90% back to normal, i.e doing everything except driving, i dont plan on doing that for another week or so, i have also learned what size sipt to take and have developed a method of patting my chest, (similar to patting a babys back during feeding) when i feel pain w/ my liquids ; However, im extremely hungry & my cravings are through the roof, to the point that its making me argumentative with my loved ones! Im trying hard to stick with the liquid diet because my dr. Is in Tijuana Mexico & my life & success depends on lettin my body heal and follow the week by week meal plan! Im getting depressed, wondering why im reading post that the sleeve "supposedly " remove the part of the stomache that causes hunger.... but i feel like im dying im just going into day 5 & i have all the broths popcicle & Protein shakes & Water & juice, books to read, work to catch up on aroun the house, but all i see on tv is food commercials i never noticed before, on top of it all , the 8 lbs i lost on the pre opp diet was regained @ the hospital w/ 2 days of IV fluids & natural water retention from trauma of surgery, i know im rambling now, i just needed to vent.... im just wondering y all the successfull sleevers dont report the good bad and ugly, i never thought it was like this, i thought it was a quick fix for a few thousands... bye guys & i love each & every one of you- GN This is my pic 23 hrs post opp Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
