  6. There is nothing wrong with sf candy. Everybody is different. You would need to try it for yourself and see how your body reacts. I eat sf jolly ranchers, life savers, and werthers. It helps crave all of my sugar cravings when I struggle Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
  7. Remember that age plays a huge factor in your gains. If this is your first time starting weight lifting then it should be easy for you gain muscle. Men could gain up to 25 pounds of muscle in their first year of weight training. Try 10 to 15 mins of cardio and then start lifting. 8 to 10 reps 3 to 4 sets. Break your muscle down to build new muscle. Do 200 push ups a day. Break It down in sets but try to make sure you get it done by the end of the day. Also look at some alpha amino and boosters to help fuel your body because of your age your hormones and testosterone levels may be low. Hope this helps. YouTube as a lot of info as well. If your willing to put in the work you don't need a trainer. Just get the info from YouTube Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

  11. @"shani1970" im 6 days out. The way i look at my stomach now is like a new born babies stomach. They can only have milk because their body cant take anything else. We can only have liquids because our stomach cant take anything else.... besides broth you can have sugar free Jello, sugar free ice pops, crystal light and your protien drink. Its only this way for about another week. As the weeks go by you will gradually be able to eat a vareity of different things. Fist this to do after this is get your mental right! You have to change the way you think about food. Pick up a hobby to keep you busy thays what i did. They have adult coloring books that relaxes you and takes your mind off things. I have one and i have used it everyday since surgery..... honey get back up on thay horse and remember why you had the surgery ti begin with! Wish u well Sent from my SM-J700T1 using the BariatricPal App
  12. I was sleeved on 10/31 but wasnt released until 11/2. Im shocked they sent you home the same day. I use Gas-X extra strength for the gas issues and trust me it does wonders. I have no gas issues and i am 6 days out. Sent from my SM-J700T1 using the BariatricPal App
  13. Hi i am only 4 days out. Surgery 10/31. I found that sipping on Water throughout the day helps a lot. Warm broth settles my stomach and gas-x works wonders. I walk every 2-4 hours and that also helps with my pain and gas.My Dr. Sent me home with nausea medication and has me on a liquid diet until 11/16. I start only protiens on 11/6. Just some hints on how i get threw and my pain has not been bad at all. Sent from my SM-J700T1 using the BariatricPal App
