  1. It's been quite sometime since I've posted. I just had my band removed on 1/15/14, So much painful than having it put in. I have been having terrible reflux issues and have had the band completely unfilled for the last 2 years. I will soon start the process for the sleeve to be done, hoping my insurance will approve it.
  2. I am in Suffolk county. I use Dr. Edward Cussatti in West Islip and think he is great, but he charges $100.00 per fill.
  3. I just got my 3rd fill last week for a total of 4cc in a 10cc band. My doctor would only give me a half cc fill. I feel a little restriction, but definitely need another fill. My doctor makes you wait a whole month before he will give you another fill. Maybe this last fill will help me get through over my plateau.:crying:
  4. Grrrrrrhh..I was really hoping my 2nd fill would give me some restriction. I have 3.5cc in a 10cc band. My doctor will not give more than 1cc at a time once a month, at this rate I think it will take forever.:cursing:
  5. I went for my 2nd fill today and I am now at 3.5cc in a 10cc band. I am praying to feel restriction because up till now I have had none. I am able to eat anything. Hope this fill does give me at least a little restriction.
  6. Just had my second fill today and now I am at 3.5cc in 10cc band.

  12. Hi everyone! Well I am banded. Yesterday I came out of the OR very, very nauseous. Gas pain was extremely bad yesterday, but okay today. I cant say that much for where my port incision is, wow is that sore.
  13. Good morning fellow shamrocks! Its just about time for me to leave for the hospital, have to be there at 8:00am. It wont be long before I get on board the band wagon (yipee). Best of luck to all the fellow 26ers!:sneaky:
