@@NewMeesh I'm feeling pretty good just anxious to move on from liquid to purées. Thanksgiving was hard but not as hard as I thought it would be. I have barely had any pain just gas gets to me at times.

Thank you all for the encouragement!
I do think a lot of it is that I want to eat certain things and I can't which is frustrating but part of the process, I know. My Protein and liquid intake is improving little by little. Hoping to move on to full liquids tomorrow, fingers crossed that goes well .

Had surgery on November 14th and I'm having so much trouble because I just keep thinking of all the things I want to eat but can't or won't be able to for a while. I'm tired or broth and almost can't even stand the smell of it . Trying to get in my Protein shake but am barely able to get 1 down a day. Any tips for liquid stage?

I also went through amerihealth caritas and had the same requirements. I was scared I wasn't going to be approved because I didn't lose the 15 lbs my surgeon required before the surgery but I was a approved. Good luck just follow the process and if you are denied your surgeon can work with you to fight it if he determines you are a candidate for the surgery. Good luck!

My nutritionist stated that what I could have was: broth, apple sauce (1 cup a day), sugar free Jello, sugar free popsicles, yogurt, and of course Protein shakes
