  1. I had 3 fills (about 2 weeks apart) as soon as my recovery period was over to reach restriction. I haven't had a fill for over a year and I still have restriction.
  2. Technically, I live in WA, but I consider myself an Oregonian. I'm 45 minutes from Portland. But, I was born and raised in Oregon. North Bend/Coos Bay area. I'm coming up on 2 years banded. I've lost 94 lbs. I'm 15 lbs. from goal. In Sept, my husband and I ran the prefontaine memorial 10K run in Coos Bay. It's good to see others from the same area on LBT.
  3. YES! This is happening to me. I had a fill in April and everything seemed perfect. Then, the last couple months the band has slowly gotten tighter. Now, it's uncomfortably tight, so I'm getting an unfill tomorrow. I can't believe my restriction changed so much in 5 months.
  4. I had surgery Dec 27th, 2005. Started at 241, now I'm 187. 54 pounds and counting...
  5. I get my first fill Feb. 9th (banned 12/28). I'm hungry, have no restriction and can eat like I did before surgery. I'm trying not to though. Looking forward to my fill.
  6. I'm 3 days post-op. I'm still fairly sore and slightly gassy. I'm getting plenty of rest. I don't have an appetite so I have to force myself to sip liquids. The first 24 hours were really tough, but I feel better everyday.
