  2. Honestly, with the pantoprazole, I haven’t been on it long enough to tell. It just might be contributing to the gas (which is so bad, even when drinking water). Maybe I should give the Pepcid a try and see if there’s a difference. Are you able now, 15mths out, to eat solids with ease? I’m hoping within the next 6wks things get better, but I’m still in my liquid phase and everything is just giving me trouble. I can’t even finish 1/2 a protein drink and I know I can’t go many more days/weeks like this. That’s why Im trying this forum. Not too many people I can find that have had this procedure, so thank you so much for the help!
  3. I’ve just had my sleeve revised to the SIPS procedure on 4/22/21. I Been a week and I can’t seem to eat anything without gas pains, even water is so uncomfortable. The pantoprazole my doctor prescribed me is no help. Does this ever pass? Any suggestions?
  4. I was just like you, and I would recommend taking a Phazyme pill. Simethicone is the ingredient that helps with gas and gas-x strips only have 25mg while the Phazyme has 180mg. The gas-x strips didn't help me at all while one Phazyme worked mirages! Try it, it's awesome! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  9. Congrats! I am 5 days out and had the same problems My doctor gave me a recipe that is WONDERFUL! It gives you the same Protein in 1/2 the amount and makes more time available for getting in your Water. 1-sugar free pudding (in ready container) 1-scoop of Protein Powder A little milk (about 1/3 cup) Blend well. It will become a liquid and is 1/2 the amount of a shake with the same amount of protein. Best part is you can change up pudding flavor (as long as it's sugar free) so you don't get bored with the taste. Hope this helps! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
