  5. Anyone having issues with using the Map My Run app?? Normally I love to use it to track my walks and bike rides, but for some reason it's not tracking properly now. Yesterday, I went mall walking with my sister in law. We walked together, same route, distance, speed and length of time. We both started the app at the beginning and stopped at the end. Mine didn't track even half of the workout. any suggestions for resolving this? Sent from my SM-G900V using the BariatricPal App
  6. Exactly!! Let me know when you are up and running with your fitbit and I can add you to our challenges! Sent from my SM-G900V using the BariatricPal App
  7. You look great! What an awesome accomplishment for you. Be proud!! I feel the same way about no way in hell can I do it now, but that is my goal. I can walk a 5K, but I want to RUN one!! Sent from my SM-G900V using the BariatricPal App
  8. Yep!! I didn't "win" the first challenge I participated in yesterday, but it still pushed me to make my step goal for the day. I did that and that made me happy! It was fun and our group of peeps were so nice and supportive! Sent from my SM-G900V using the BariatricPal App
  9. Absolutely. Just let me know and I can add you to ours if you want. I'm just starting too. Sent from my SM-G900V using the BariatricPal App
  10. I will set a weekend up one right now too! I have mine set up at 10k, but only cause it was a "standard goal" that my dr recommended. I think I will give it a week and lower it if I don't feel up to that much just yet. It's a good feeling just to be movitated to move it! I might not be ready for 10k just yet, but I can assure you that just by having this on me, I have more steps than I did 3 days ago. I love it. Sent from my SM-G900V using the BariatricPal App
  11. Done! ???? Sent from my SM-G900V using the BariatricPal App
  12. I'm looking at it as motivation to just get moving. I'm pretty certain I won't be winning any myself, just thought it'd be fun! Sent from my SM-G900V using the BariatricPal App
  13. It is Water resistant (sweat, rain and splash proof). But not swim proof or showerproof. I think they do make other types that can be worn while swimming. Sent from my SM-G900V using the BariatricPal App
  14. Disregard...... it was in reference to another thread that got crazy by that simple statement... apparently my quoting feature to include the intended comment didn't work... or quite possibly operator error on my part. Sent from my SM-G900V using the BariatricPal App
  15. I beg your pardon???? Sent from my SM-G900V using the BariatricPal App
  16. Wow..... Sent from my SM-G900V using the BariatricPal App

  21. Have you already had your band removed, or are they doing the removal and revision at the same time? I am having my band removed and sleeve revision in one surgery (that's the plan anyway!) Aiming for the end of July! Good luck!! Sent from my SM-G900V using the BariatricPal App I had my band removed in 2013! I had a terrible slip and was very very sick! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App I got mine in October 2008. I also had a slippage in August 2013 and had it repaired. Should have had the revision done then. Grrrrr!! 23. Folks, please know that unless a FB page is "secret", your friends (and anyone else!) can see that you belong to the group! Unless you're ok with everyone knowing you belong to "Bariatric Surgeries 2016", please be careful. If you're ok with everyone knowing, rock on! I just feel that not everyone understand that "closed" is NOT the same as "private". See pic for what I was easily able to find with a quick search... 24. Is it a "secret" group? I want to join it also, but do not want anyone on my friends list (or anyone who is not a member of the group for that matter) to see that I am in it, or see any of my posts. Sent from my SM-G900V using the BariatricPal App
  25. Yes, I am going with my original surgeon that did my band. Getting a revision to the sleeve in July/August. The OP on this thread was looking for one tho. Sent from my SM-G900V using the BariatricPal App Did you have any luck finding a Dr? Sent from my SM-G900V using the BariatricPal App
